An unsung strength of the WSM IMO is how portable it is. Even the big 22 can just be picked up in three separate pieces and put somewhere else.

Weather is windy and possibly rainy. So I just picked it up and moved it to cover. We won't be on our terace today.

Prepped for some very low cooking, using my local lump.

2 pounds of beef round, for some more jerky experimentation.

And its jugging along. (hate the fake depth of field my smartphone is producing... You have me standing in some baggy pants in the reflection :D)
 
Yep, beef jerky is just always a hit. This is afyer an hour.

Pulled it after 2.5h, because it began to rain and I had to start dinner. Can't eat beef jerky for the whole dinner. (It won't last long anyways)

In that timeframe it hasn't been dried enough. Won't matter :D

Wheeled my kettle to the terace as well, and moved the hot coals

Honestly, next time I just use the charcoal basket in the WSM for very low cooks. Swapping a hot basket is a breeze, I saved myself lighting another batch of coals.
