Smoke wood at BPS

Went to Bass Pro Shops on Saturday not far from my house just to look around. When I got to the outdoor cooking/camping section I was totally excited to find apple and oak wood chunks for smoking. I have been having to purchase these particular wood chunks online (and pay shipping of course) because I couldn't find them anywhere near my house. I could only find hickory and mesquite. They also had a nice selection of Weber grilling tools and accessories, spice rubs, foodsaver stuff, etc. So if you have trouble finding wood chunks and you have a BPS nearby, you might want to check it out. Russell,I've only seen chips at the local BPS. The only chunks they had were the usual, hickory and mesquite. But I have been known to stock up on apple, maple and JD chips while at the mall!

Yeah, the only chunks I ever find anywhere are hickory and mesquite so I was quite suprised to find these at BPS. I haven't tried them yet but I assume wood is wood. If I like them - no more shipping. Yea!
