My mother wants me to smoke the Christmas ham this year, but I can't seem to decide when to do it. I have 2 options, either smoke it the day before and bring it over then reheat it in the oven, OR just bring my smoker over and cook it the morning of. Is there any difference in taste if you reheat a ham a day after you cook it? Or will it taste better if I cook and eat it that morning? Please forgive this stupid question, but I've never cooked a whole ham before on the wsm, gonna attempt the bourbon glaze in the Smoke n spice book!
