<Tongue firmly in cheek>

Attention all you cheapskates that "settle for flimsy knockoffs" and buy "cheap look-alike thermometers." ThermoWorks has introduced Sizzle. Fast, accurate, and built to last, with trusted ThermoWorks performance for everyday cooking. With a folding probe, waterproof body, and magnetic back, "it’s the dependable workhorse".

<End humor>

It will be interesting to see if a $59 price point is enough to pull some people away from less expensive thermometers (I doubt it), but I think it's smart to segment their offerings into Thermapen for professional/commercial kitchen/food processing users that want a NIST-traceable calibration certificate, antimicrobial plastic case, etc., Sizzle as the home version of a foldable thermometer, and ThermoPop as the pocket digital thermometer.
