Simple rib mop

Would anyone be kind enough to send me a simple rib mop recipe that would also be good on butts ? I've been using store bought stuff but would like to make my own from a simple recipe ! Thanks !:blackkettle::blackgenesis::wsm22:

Here is mop I used on ribs and butts back before my first WSM when I was still using a log smoker.
Southern Sop:
2 C cider vinegar
1 C water
3 Tbsp black pepper
2Tbsp salt
1Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp paprika
1 Tbsp cayenne (I used to go 1 tsp here since it was a bit hot for the family)

Heat it up and baste warm

Hope this helps. Again I haven't used it since my old log smoker, but it was a good all purpose for pork. Even used it on a couple of whole hogs!

Hey Chris here is the rub I used that compliments that mop real nice
southern Succor Rub:
2 c black pepper
2 c paprika
2 c sugar
1 c salt
12 tsp dry mustard
6 tsp cayenne
These measurements are 4x since I like to make up a bunch at a time. Quarter or half to make less. I still use this dry rub on butts, but don't care for it on ribs. It is a good compliment to that mop though even though I don't mop any more.

Dustin's is spot on. More simple: 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup apple juice and if you have a wild hair, couple shakes of Worcestershire sauce. Use a mop and dab. Never brush a butt
