I used these, expensive but worked well.

I did something similar in the Netherlands. Had an US 2000 but much issues to rebuilt. Did find a NEW Silver with sideburner.
The frame of the 2000 is 1 cm larger the rest does fit very well. Will only use the wooden parts to match the looks of the 2000 but the frame and all other items are Silver.

Looking back at your original pics, that grill that you got looks to be a Genesis 4000. It has the hardware and slide bar for a right side table. Check the serial number under the control panel.
