I just used the new Shredded BBQ Beef recipe from the site, and have to say, it was fantastic.

I used Goya Adobo and McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning for my dry rub. Mesquite and Cherry for smoke wood. My family is already asking when we can make it again.

Five stars - and EASY clean up.

Jeff -
Did you just follow the new posted recipe - 250ishF for 6 hours? Any pics?
I will try this this weekend.

I used the posted recipe with chuck roast. Six hours turned out to be just about right.

Sorry, I didn't think to take any pictures. Good luck. I found it amazing!

I posted pics of a Chuck cook last week or something. Bassically treated it like pork butt but used a beef injection and beef rub. Turned out fabulous. check out the thread in the photo section

I've made the original Cook's Illustrated version of this recipe before (on the grill, not smoker), and it was quite delicious. The original recipe calls for a coffee based BBQ sauce and it is quite delicious.

As an aside, Franklin's BBQ here in Austin has a coffee based sauce, but it wasn't near as good as the Cook's Illustrated one.
