Thanks to this thread...I've used dish soap, simple green, and greased lighting with steel wool on my otg. It's much cleaner, has a shine, but there is still baked on stuff there. There has to be a better way to do this. Would an oven cleaner work?

Try Mr. Clean magic erasers along with some elbow grease. I was able to get rid of most of my smoke stains.

Without resorting to something so harsh that it risks damaging the finish, there probably aren't any additional options without heating the place/piece in question.
