Semi frozen ribeyes

I’ve come to like cooking a half frozen steak. If you can’t get fresh cut then this method yields a juicy steak.

These were my hand cuts and then plastic wrapped then frozen. No burn on them at all.

Cooking indirect with oak barrel stave piece till 95°. Will then go direct sear on the CI center grill, which is haven’t used in a long while.

This method allows for a nice crust.

Served with a baked potato with spinach and sour cream.

Amazing cook as always, lovecthe plate shot, and sliced shot, but it is 430PM and I have no idea what to have for dinner, but I am sure hungry now....
 
Brett, that looks delicious. Great idea for Sammie's, we also do left over steak salad. Keep up the great cooks.:)
