Seafood pasta

The daytime low tides have been great for clam and oyster foraging this last couple days.
I take advantage of that whenever I can.

I got smart and started using a steam basket in a home depot bucket when I purge the sand out of my clams.
That and a $12 USB port bubble pump work great

Hi Brian,
Hey nice job on the clam chowder.

I swear even before moving to a clammy area, clam chowder was my favorite things.
I remember not long ago, when I first moved here I got all nervous when I made chowder but then I chilled out and realized good ingredients going in will produce a good meal.

I toss most any simple items in my chowder or soup and it shines.
Onions, taters, sun dried tomatoes, garden veggies, cream or smoked bacon end cuts .
It doesn’t seem to matter.
Heck I’ll even sauté my onions in vodka to add nice twist on the flavor.

For me it is similar to the old parable of stone or nail soup I learned in Sunday school.
The more you add (especially friendship) the better it gets or something like that.
Can you share some of your ingredients?

I need to chowder up now.
