Sausage & Peppers on the Gasser

I've felt bad for neglecting my trusty old Gasser since I got my shiny new OTG, so I thought i'd give her a spin for old times. First I started some sweet Italian sausage.

While that was starting to cook I chopped up some green bell pepper, jalapeno peppers, onion and garlic. Turned the sausages a few times and glazed them with some Sticky Fingers Memphis Original and got the veggies started in the CI.

Veggies cooking nicely.

Sliced up the sausage and added it into the CI.

Added a little Sticky Fingers to the mix just for fun.

Served over some white Jasmine rice.

YUM!!!

Thanks for stopping by . . .

Love sticky fingers sauce. Have you tried their Carolina Sauce? I ,Ike to cook the peppers and onions in a pan with my sausage. What vintage(age)s your ci? I don't recognize the mark on the handle.

Curt, I now have the Carolina Sauce on my shopping list. The CI is a Griswold #8 from somewhere between 1920 - 1040. Found it in a consignment shop and had to have it. It's become my go-to skillet both indoors and out.
