Saturday night steaks

I admit I've been kind of a shut in lately with all the snow and cold , but last night at supper time it was almost 40 degrees and a lot of the snow had melted from the back yard. Soooooo , I dug out the gas grill and did up some New York strips I had thawed out for a movie night with our friends.

I moistened them with Worcestershire sauce and sprinkled them with Montreal steak seasoning and let them meditate for a while......

I dragged the gasser out into the light........

Once it was hotted up , I threw the steaks on my Grill Grates ( which are pretty good , have you seen these?)

I regret to say that I did not take any plated pics in all the hubbub of getting it all on the table.
We had Mac n cheese and fresh carrots as sides and everything was delish.
The steaks were perfect. The big one came out rare and the two smaller ones were perfect medium....just like I planned it for once! I opened a bottle of 14 hands "hot to trot" to go with it and we made short work of it! Everyone said it was a meal to remember , so I felt pretty good about it
Well , today it's a raging blizzard again , so I'm glad I got out there one time.
Everyone enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Excellent looking steaks Frank! I've got grill grates myself, but don't use them often enough as I have way too many toys! :D I do like the way they cook everything even and great grill marks too!
