I went with some chops indirect until they hit 110 then I seared them over hot coals on each side then returned them on the indirect side until they hit 150 and they were great. The vegetables turned out great too. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Looks great! I usually wrap my corn in foil with butter, but I really need to try "just grilling it". Nothing like a grilled pork chop!

Guys I foiled the corn with olive oil about ten mins then turned. I heard it start popping so I unfoiled and grilled without foil. I'm still learning this stuff as it was the first time. It turned out great.

Tony, your three hours behind so your probably just getting cranked up!! I'm sure you and your wife will post another killer.

Neil from the looks of that plate, you learned very well. :)

Man Niel those chops look great! for corn i usually just leave it in the husk and grill it over medium heat for about a half an hour, always comes out great or put it on the smoker for the same amount of time.

Thanks Justin. I'm gonna get brave and do them that way next time. Do you soak them, if so how long?

Neil, i don't soak them. i do peel off the first few layers of husk, pull off the silk poking through the top, and break off any excess stalk from the bottom. after that i rinse them real good and do try to make sure i get water in the top of it where i just ripped off the silks, sometime if i remember i'll rinse them (just to get them wet again) right before i put them on, but other then that i just let them go. i did have a friend come over the other day and she peel back all the husks and rubbed the corn down with olive oil or butter (i don't remember) and put some whole sprigs of rosemary around the corn and then pulled the husks back over. grilled it over medium heat (the top rack of my old chargriller) while i did some burgers on the bottom, and those came out great too
