Satisfying my Q withdrawal...

It's been probably over a month since I've lit up the old WSM. Life got in the way, we sold our house, and overall things got really hectic. Needless to say, I've been jonesin' for some Q. So this morning, got up early, threw on a couple butts (smaller ones) and will put down some ribs later in the day. The butts will be for later in the week. The ribs for tonight.

I can't tell you how good it felt getting outside. It was cool and sunny. Had my coffee and it felt really good when it was all running and the plume of smoke was drifting gently into the sky. I'm sure all of you know the feeling.

Welcome and glad to see you didn't "Fly the Coop" lol. Missed your posts for the last couple of weeks and was wondering what had happened to you. I was planning to cook your Korean (Kalbi) ribs this coming weekend or next week depending on the weather. You said you sold your house. Have you found another? Most likely something with a Q'n corner. You always have great posts with great pics. Good to hear from you. Bob B

Thanks for the kind words Bob. This site is great, and sharing Q'ing and grilling experiences is all part of the fun. I wasn't posting, but I was certainly following.

FYI...we found another house. Let's just say the next few months will be pretty hectic. thankfully, this includes lots of cooking. We've got a freezer to empty.

Oh, and I never managed to get pics of the ribs and PP. They were delish, though.
