Does anyone here make this? I remember enjoying some my dad made >20 years ago....

If you have any suggestions please feel free! I'll probably make it from a slab from Costco. I don't have any molasses so I guess I'll have to get some of that if I go with the AB recipe above. I got a couple Ronco dehydrators from my pop years ago but I wouldn't be against smoking it on the WSM----I've not cold smoked anything on it so far.

"Once dry, store in a cool dry place, in an airtight container for 2 to 3 months."

This part is scary to me, but I guess it's safe....& really, ideal for the trail or backpacking.
