Salmon Brine - What is "Savory" spice?

Want to try and make the appetizer style smoked salmon listed in the "Cooking Topics" section and the brine recipe calls for 1/4tsp "savory". Was just at the grocery store and didnt see it anywhere. Anyone know what this is exactly? Speciality spice only found in gourmet food stores? Suggestions as to where it can be found? Possible substitutes?

You'll find it at better gourmet supermarkets or online.

Cook's Thesaurus says a substitute is thyme or thyme + dash of sage or mint.

Thank you! I'll continue checking some other stores, but good to know I can use thyme in a pinch (no pun intended).
