Salisbury Steak sounded good on a wet weekday evening.

Made the burger mix with ground beef, onion flakes, onion powder, parsley flakes, celery seed, paprika, black pepper, Italian bread crumbs and milk. Dredged patties to coat.

Browned the patties and removed from pan.

Made the gravy with can of Cream of Mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, one pound of sliced mushrooms, onion and bouillon.

Returned the patties to the pan and covered with gravy mixture. (Covered pan for this step)

Plated with buttermilk mashed potatoes and peas and shallots.

Tasted wonderful. The gravy was excellent. Thanks for looking everyone!

I'm on my way Cliff, hold any leftovers for me please. Okay I get it you wolfed down the whole thing. I would have too.
Truly I haven't had Salisbury steak in 50 years, used to be a weekly meal in my family in the 50s been looking at recipes but haven't found anything that looks familiar.

They look at lot better than the ones in the Swanson TV dinners back when I was a kid. Sunday night fare on tv trays so we could watch Ed Sullivan to check out the music acts. I think I need to carpool up your way with Rich.

It's been a long time since I had Salisbury steak but yours looks awesome. Great job Cliff.
