S-420 Manifold - ruste

Anybody have thoughts on this? I have a S-420 LP. Before taking her apart, I checked and the manifold does still spark.

However, I am concerned about cleaning off all the rust ( probalby with a Dremmel) then putting it back together and she wont work. Waiting to hear back from Weber about warranty, but if not, is it worth it to buy new.

I would still probably try cleaning it up, then warranty claim, then buy new.
