I saw another post where a member put his lodge logic grill in the performer. Then I remembered buying this unit about 5 years ago. Unfortunately it has not been well kept, and now what I have is a mass of rust.

What are some of the methods you can all teach me to restore this scrap.

Huan looking at the pic's of the hibachi, i would take a wire brush and clean it as best as possible, then spray it with oven cleaner and put in a plastic bag for at least 24hrs repeat if necessary. Rinse off with soap and water, to re-season apply a light coat of lard and bake in the oven for an hr at 400 degree's. Repeat the process about 4 times.
