Hi there,
today we had Steaks. I'm comfortable with Low and Slow but Steaks are always my personal challenge. As everybody in my family want's them differently, I always try to make them medium rare and whom they are too bloody can throw it back on the grill. These ones were cut out of the roastbeef, that we had yesterday. Each one is about 300gramm / 10oz.
A whole chimney with weber long lasting charcoals was enough to cook the potatoe quarters for 45min at about 220°C/438°F and after that I grilled the steaks with same heat about 2 minutes on each side. After one minute I gave them a 45° turn to get a nice searing pattern.
Then I wrapped them in aluminum foil for about 10 minutes.
Mine was perfect, my wife threw it back on the grill...as expected
Enjoy
