Royal Oak "Steak House" Lump Charcoal

It is in a green bag. I had never seen it before. I have not used it yet, but was wondering if anyone had and, if so, how did they like it? Thanks.

It's good stuff! That's all I really have seen this year compared to the red bag which I have used alot.
If you like the lump, this is not a bad choice

Whats the difference between this and red bag RO? A friend of mine tried telling me that RO had changed its bags to green, I thought he was crazy.
 
They are the same thing!!! The green bag is for Menards only! They wanted to have it look different then the RO briquetts. That is the info I got from the RO rep!

The Steak House lump is $4.64 for a 8.8 pounder
RO briq's are $5.97 for a 18 pounder.

Well, at least around these parts.

I am in Columbia, South Carolina. I bought it while on a random trip through K-Mart. The price I paid was comensurate with the other prices mentioned here.

Does Royal Oak have a website? I have done a few Google searches and cannot find one.
 
per a Royal Oak rep I spoke with..its the same lump they package in the orange bag..nothing different
