Rotisserie question

Hi all - I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so I figured I would start here. I am going to buy a rotisserie. I have an 18.5 WSM and a 22.5 one touch. I just don't know whether I want to use it on a smoker or on a kettle. I'm sure I'll be good with either one, but I'm hoping to hear from some of you who have them. Is there an advantage to one or the other? Any help will be greatly appreciated..!!!!

well mike, i hate to say this....
butt IF (big if) you had a 22" WSM, you could solve ALL your problems and buy the Cajun Bandit REVERSABLE rotisserie and OF COURSE, have the best of both Worlds.
Using the rotis on the kettle is AWESOME....
using the rotis on the WSM is 10TIMES AWESOME!! NOSeHIT!
one of the reasons i sold my 18"WSM for the 22" WSM.

seriously, if you stumble upon a used 22" WSM, BUY IT then sell your 18" and pocket the dough for your NEW Cajun Bandit Rotisserie package!

I have one for my kettle and have used it to cook chickens, duck, goose, leg of lamb, etc. It works great.

I have not used one on a WSM. I'd like to hear some experiences from folks who have.

Jim - I cracked up as soon as I starting reading your response. Trust me, I have had that conversation with myself on more than one occasion!! When I bought the WSM, my logic should've been "Better to have the 22 and not always need it, etc, etc." I'll have to see if I can make your idea work. Maybe I'll get the 22 rotis and hope to swing the big WSM at some point. I'll have to think about this some more

Mike, keep your eyes on Craig's List, some folks DO sell their 22" WSM...I consider myself lucky enough to find one and then sell my 18" for the same price i paid for the used 22".
Anyway, i hope you get what you're lookin' for and the rotis...
