Rotisserie question, WSM , Cajun Bandit

I've come to think I "need" a spinner, and will probably get the CB .
Question is, the spinner ring is 6", ok , but the stacker is 10" . Now I assume you can use the spinner ring like a short stacker, but the 10" stacker is a stand alone ring.
Sometimes I think the 10" would be nice for extra room to hang stuff, but doesn't come with the spinner, (I like to use the word spinner, cause I can't spell the R word) :D
So..anyone know why the stacker doesn't utilize the R parts, or why CB makes both when I'd think just the 10" would serve both purposes?
and has anyone modified the stacker to use the spinner? and... ok that's enough, Thanks.

The ring for the rotisserie is made in such a way that it can be used on a Weber kettle or WSM. It has two holes, two slots and holes to attach the bracket for the rotisserie motor. As such.... it flows more air than the stacker. Not a big deal because most rotisserie cooks are done at higher heat.

The stacker adds increased cooking capacity by allowing use of another grate. Low & slow is easily done when using it. It can also be inverted (like the rotisserie ring) and used on a kettle or WSM.

I suppose you could add a cooking grate to the rotisserie ring, however it wouldn't have enough distance between it and the grate on the kettle or top grate on the WSM. It would only be useful for very thin items.

As far as drilling holes and slots in a Cajun Bandit ring or stacker..... they are made of stainless steel - tough stuff - much more difficult to work with than mild steel.

Get one of each! You won't be sorry.

You won't go wrong with the CB rotisserie ring, especially if you have both WSM and Kettle. The CB ring is much better than the Weber ring (which will only work on a Kettle).
