Rotisserie Basket Question

I just evaluated baskets for the Kettle Rotisserie last month. There are 3 types of metal used: non-stick, chrome-plated and stainless.

I initially wanted a stainless steel basket to avoid rust issues. The only true stainless models I could find were by OneGrill and Fire Magic. However, they were made for larger spits, so you would have to jump through some hoops to have them mount correctly on a 5/16" spit. They also cost much more than the non-stick and chrome-plated baskets.

So, I decided to treat this as a semi-disposable purchase, and just get the cheapest basket I could find. If it's local to you, Menard's has a $6.99 basket:

Since shipping and processing fees ate up any kind of discount, I settled on a similar basket from Ace Hardware, their house brand Grillmark for $14.99

A little hard to clean, but it does the job

I kind of like the "semi disposable" idea of the cheap ones, get a season out of one and ditch it, buy three at a time and no worries about having one when you need one! I have not used one yet but, it does look like it might be very convenient.

Good idea at purchasing 3 at time. Brings the cost down to about $10 per basket, including shipping

I bought one of these a while ago: http://www.onegrill.com/Grill_Rotisserie_Spit_Rod_Flat_Basket_p/4pb10.htm

It fits several sizes of spits. It's OK, but I'm not totally happy with it. I think it's a generic basket sold by about everyone.
What I don't like is that the spit goes through the inside of the basket and as such gets in the way of things. The metal that the thumbscrews go through to secure the spit is pretty thin. The cage is also constructed of thin wire. I guess regarding the unit as disposable is the right way to think about it.

Just had a HUGE Menards built about ten minutes from me, I might have to take a cruise out there and see if they stock it here, save the shipping entirely!
I just checked the website and they say it's in stock here, yay!
