Rio Grande-Style Barbecue Marinade

Rio Grande-Style Barbecue Marinade

8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. sugar
1 TB. Worcestershire Sauce
1 TB. white vinegar
1/2 cup red wine
1 clove garlic, minced
Tabasco Sauce to taste
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients together in a 2 or 3 quart saucepan. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Use as a marinade or basting sauce. Makes 2 cups.

This is in our "Make Soon" folder. I am going to ask DH to add quite a bit more garlic. lol

Jeff, I guess what I said about the garlic makes it sound like we have made it and I want to add MORE garlic, but, no, I was just jumping the gun BEFORE trying it with 1 clove of garlic. lol
