Ribs on the Mini WSM

Decided to cook some ribs today in the mini WSM. I was going to just throw them on the regular WSM but wanted to see how the mini could handle them. I'm really glad I went with the mini for a few reasons. 1. It took less than 20 Walmart briquettes to cook the ribs for 5 hours and held temps great. 2. We had a freak rain storm and it was very easy to move the mini into the garage. 3. I got a really good feel for how the mini handles.

Made some cole slaw from scratch for the first time ever. First time eating it too. I always thought it looked gross. I love it now especially since I'm on a low carb diet and my side dishes are limited. The red dots are roasted red pepper.

My 3 year old daughter is a rib eating machine. Even though these had some Cajun heat on them she powered through them and I had to cut her off at 3 ribs.

This is the same kind of look the dog gives me if she thinks I'm going to take her bone away.

Here's a fattie I threw on after the ribs were finished. Only had to add 7 unlit briquettes.

Priceless (and cute as a button).

Hey Branon - Wow that Mini did a great job. Your ribs came out looking great. And the little cutie sharing those ribs with her daddy came out pretty great also. It's always fun sharing those things with the little ones. Nice job. Bob B
