I would NOT put them on the smoker frozen........
If they're in cryovac, put them in a sink, cooler or bucket of cold water. Change the water ever 30 minutes with cold water until thawed.
If they are not in cryvac, leave them in their wrapper and place that in a 2 gallon zip loc or trash bag and remove all of the air and follow directions above.
