Ribs for one

So for the next several weeks I am a bachelor with the wife away visiting her mom. Looking to smoke some ribs but as I do not enjoy leftover ribs as much as off the grill I was wondering of just cutting the rack in two and only smoking one at a time. Has anyone tried this and does it affect the cooking time?

Whole rack or half rack will cook in the same amount of time.

Thanks, sounds like a plan for today. I would invite over some friends but really need to get some trim painting done today too.
