Rib eye and some sides

This last few years the wife and I are just fine splitting a ribeye and having a few sides to go with it.
I hardly ever eat a big steak by myself now.

Tonight the wife and I split a steak and once again bbq’ed some corn but I did a twist to the corn to change it up.
They were only covered by 3/4’s of husk so I added some butter and some sweet habanero sauce to them after their soak and right before I bbq’ed them in foil.
I just love sweet corn season 👍.

The dinner also had potato skins instead of regular baked potatoes.
I’ve been enjoying stuffed skins more than the standard baked potatoes for a while now and haven’t looked back.
The habanero sauce was awesome on the skins too.

For salads we had some easy Safeway deli made chicken Caesar salad and some albacore past salad.
Both were ok/good but really didn’t ring my bell.
I’m usually fine with their deli salads (like bowtie/pea pasta) but this time the salads were meh 🫤.

For desert I went with a bowl of watermelon cubes

Great looking cook Andy. Barb and I are the same way now, splitting a steak is just fine for the two of us. Still like my baker though and grilled corn on the bone is one of Barbs specialties, I could eat a bushel basket of those.
