Review: Kingsford Garlic Onion Paprika Hickory Charcoal

I stumbled across Kingsford Garlic, Onion, Paprika & Hickory Wood flavored charcoal briquets at The Home Depot. I bought a bag which I used to cook Hot & Fast Chicken on my Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker for WSM Smoke Day 18 on May 28, 2022. Did it improve my chicken? Watch to find out!

Thanks for sharing Chris! I think I’ll save my 14 bucks and stick to the kbb and my own smoke woods. Funny at the beginning of the video and you had a picture of the garlic onion paprika bag the first think I thought of was a bag of lays potato chips. Actually that would be a good potato chip flavor

Yes, now that you mention it, the bag does kind of look like a chips bag! Hmm...Kingsford BBQ Potato Chips...they smell awful when you first light the bag on fire, but once you start eating them, they're delicious! You're welcome for the idea, K!

I Saw these at Lowe’s this morning. I like that it’s all the flavored charcoal or whatever that is instead of the mixed bag Chris tried. Figured I would try it because I love being in my backyard hopefully my neighbors can smell it. At $7.98 it’s worth a try. If it adds a little to my Friday night drinking fest in the backyard it’ll be well worth it.
My plan is to light a full chimney and add 1/2 a bag of these after I pour the charcoal into the grill.
