Replace my manifold assembly in addition to my regulator?

I have a Q300 grill and need to replace the regulator as it failed to give me gas even after all measures were taken. So I will replace the regulator but am wondering if it would not be a bad idea to also replace the manifold assembly? My grill is about 12 or so years old.
I also am replacing the burner tubes.

I have always had a hot spot and cold spot on the grill, but it has gotten more pronounced with the years. I am thinking that the new burner tubes and manifold assembly might solve this issue.

Thanks for any input you can offer!

I am leaning toward the regulator with the manifold assembly since I am not seeing a way to buy only the manifold assembly by itself, should I need it. The assembly is always sold with the regulator. If I get only the regulator and find I will need the manifold assembly, I will end up buying another regulator.
