OK kids,

Run, don't walk to your nearest Williams Sonoma store. (It's a gourmet cooking supplies store found in most malls.)

They have Wireless Remote Thermometers on sale for $19.99.

Before the holidays they were going for 54 bucks.
My wife got me one last week for $29 -- the last one in the store.

I went in today to a different location to get a second one. The price tag said $29, but when they scanned the bar code at the register the price was only 19.99.

Granted, this is the kind only allows one remote probe and transmitter. But hey, a deal's a deal.

I checked out their web site, and they have them available, but NOT at the bargain price. You'll pay 54 bucks on line.
Gotta go in and get one!

Thought y'all should know.

Yeah, run. A few weeks ago thanks to a posting on this board, I ran to Costco and managed to get a few Nu-Temps for 20 bucks.
My biggest regret is not buying a WSM for $110 at a store closing sale(Home2Home) in Sacramento. I was carting TWO WSM's to the register before the wife stopped me. " What the hell are you going to do with THREE WSM's ?" " Aren't you being greedy ?"
A week later, I made beautiful spareribs. Now it"s " Maybe we should have got the extra cookers"

/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Roy, that's tragic! I have a certain "look" I give Kevin on those rare occasions he tries to talk me out of something. Try batting your eyes next time! /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Sorry you didn't get the cookers.
