Remote Fan

Has anyone built/assemble a remote fan, attached to a hose, attached to the oven (i.e. Big Green Egg + Pitmaster IQ)?

I like the idea of less wires, less sticking out from the oven, and especially like the fan/electronics out of the weather.

In 4 or so years of using my Delta blower in all kinds of weather in the Chicago area, I have not had any problems with it. The blower is protected from weather pretty good, although if you are using the stock blower then maybe you could put some Silicon where the sticker and wires go into the blower to add a little protection.
