Refreezing thawed wings.

I got a freebie 10 pound bag of fresh raw wings from work the other day. Like an idiot I froze the whole bag without portioning it out. Needless to say, I now have a 10 pound block of wings...lol. So today I'm stuck thawing the whole thing out. Would it be safe to refreeze the unused wings?

wwwwwhy not!?

semi-thaw em and 'break' away the amount you desire then refreeze the remaining...
i done the same with other chicken parts and sausages for years and i'm still alive

Thanks..........Now another question. What is the best way to freeze if you don't have a foodsaver type device?

C'mon Bill... do i look like the Shell Answer Man?

I would guess Zip-Lock Freezer Bags are the way to go... getting as much air outta the bag as possible.
OR, Bill....
Grillem all up and have wings for breakfast/lunch/supper for the next two days - that's whadId do

Well I filled up the smoker. Cooking the whole ten pounds. First time I used both grates. And I still couldn't fit them all...lol. Going to have to do a separate batch when these are done. Ended up with about 100 wings.
