I hope this is OK, but this was interesting:
Well 1200 platinum would be ideal. I still consider that part of 1000 series. Those grills and Jrs are just my favorite Webers and the only ones I'd pay decent money for. I like the smaller grills/frames and the build design of them. Just my preferenceWhy a 1000 specifically?
I would too.If that was a 1000 I'd definitely consider it.
My all time favorite Weber. I don't like the long frame versions of those grills either as I'm sure I've mentioned more than once.Well 1200 platinum would be ideal.
Yes and I agree but after owning and using my Jr. I like it just as much as 1000 series. I like them both in their own way. I know you aren't a big fan of the Jr but I can't decide between the them. I can't live without either I guess. My all time favorite Weber. I don't like the long frame versions of those grills either as I'm sure I've mentioned more than once.
It's not that I don't like the Jr, I've never had one so I may not know what I'm missing. If one falls into my lap I will certainly give it a try before I pass judgement on it.I know you aren't a big fan of the Jr but I can't decide between the them. I can't live without either I guess.
If I can round up enough of them I'll send one your wayIt's not that I don't like the Jr, I've never had one so I may not know what I'm missing. If one falls into my lap I will certainly give it a try before I pass judgement on it.
Ha ha, thanks. I have to believe one will turn up around here eventually. If I can round up enough of them I'll send one your way
That would be great! Closest ones to you I know of are pretty far still in MN.Ha ha, thanks. I have to believe one will turn up around here eventually.
This is the way it works for me. While I'm working on a grill I have a super hard time even considering going to pick up another one. After I'm done and I'm happy with what I did, I'll slowly start considering doing it again. As things stand now there's no way I'll get away with doing another restoration this summer, I just have too many other projects to get to. I'll still keep looking for that perfect grill and if I find one I'll stash it on the side of my house and get rid of the remains of the one currently occupying that spot. My wife still doesn't understand why I have all these grills, and I only have five of them. For a junior or the right 1000 series id do a full day trip.
I totally understand. In Arizona I'm try to have 2 permanent grills and no more than 3 at a time. So if I have 2 permanent grills while I'm working on a third. Then the 3rd is finished I have to decide which 2 I keep and which one I get rid of.This is the way it works for me. That's a big part of my problem, getting rid of them.have to decide which 2 I keep and which one I get rid of.
