Recent cooks part 2/2 Butterflied leg of lamb

Butterflied leg of lamb in rosemary and garlic marinade. Bought this ready prepared by the local butcher.

Diced spuds with shallots (I am addicted to shallots) in the Lodge pan (I love CI pans and need more!) and grilled the lamb direct.

Other side was a ready made black lentil dal to which I added feta cheese, grilled chilies, coriander and parsley.

Another gorgeous cook Gary. The lamb is just mouth watering. Definitely going to do the potatoes and shallots... soon. Want to do a little reading about the black lentil dal too. Great post.

Earlier stage of the spuds and shallots cook. To add to my BBQ/grilling obsession I need shallots almost every time. Prefer them over onions.

Black dal was a cheat really. 1 minute in the microwave but you can pimp it up.
