Re-heating chicken

I don’t know if this should be in the Barbecuing section or the Grilling section. Maybe even the Poultry section. If I’m posting in the wrong area, I apologize.

I smoked some chicken breasts last weekend along with some bacon. Any time I have extra room on the smoker, I always throw some bacon on it. I was going to re-heat a couple of breasts the other night for supper so I pulled back the skin of the chicken, put a little Italian dressing with Balsamic vinegar (which has been my sauce of choice lately) and some bacon strips on it, put the skin back on and wrapped it in foil, then put it on the grill.

Sometimes re-heating chicken makes it a little dry but this idea worked good for me. Hope someone gets some good use from this.

Great idea. I have done bacon wrapped- a lot of things, but I haven't ever done it as a reheating method.

I only eat bacon thats crisp, but in the foil, your bound to get a lot of moisture build up.
