Rancher Charcoal is coming to Trader Joe's!!!

Just got off the phone with the folks at Rancher and found out that Rancher is going to be at Trader Joes hopefully by the end of the month!!

I'm down to my last 8 bags of rancher from palate and half I bought when Home depot closed out at the end of the season a year and a half ago.

I am still shocked that more places haven't jumped on this stuff with a lower price point than Kingsford.

At least they are finally back in a chain with a large distribution channel.
 
That is great news!!!! I am down to about 15 bags of rancher. I wonder what the price will be at Trader Joes?
 
I talked with the people at OSH (Orchard) and they too will be carrying it. They stated that it will be on special in May just before Memorial Day as a twin pack offer at 11.97. Can't wait that long I'm afraid, as I am down to my last 5 bags, and with this new beast (22.5"), that's about 5-10 cooks, depending on the length of each cook.
 
He did tell me about OSH but i couldnt remember the name o that hardware chain. In the North East Shop Rite is another chain that will be carrying it.

Its still a small foothold and from talking with the people at Rancher (the Original charcoal company) it seems like the Chlorox company is really being aggressive in trying to keep them out of the big box and warehouse clubs.
