Questions on SS Performer restoration.

Since I picked one upon off Craigslist for $60, i now have 2! I'm starting to take them apart to do some work, gonna replace hardware with stainless and things like that.

Any one have recommendations for paint for the frame? The older one (EI) has some pretty good rust on the legs. Is it worthy it to have it blasted to bare metal and professionally painted? Or touch up with rust oleum?

Which cover fits these? Most of what I see is for the newer Performers.

I'll probably part with the second one, once it's fixed up, if anyone is interested.
 
I guess I would wire-wheel the heck out of it and see how bad the remaining rust looked. If there was only a bit I would stick to a good rust paint, and consider sandblasting only if the remaining rust was really bad.
