Started putting the veneer on the outside of the grill garden surround today. Here is what the longest side looks like. Wow! It kicked my behind pretty hard. Just like all the other steps! While I was doing that,I threw on 3 slabs of BB's. Was using the new clay saucer. Love it! Sorry,I didn't get any pics of the ribs, but they was good! I was amazed that the WSM never got over 250* with the saucer. I think it's a keeper!

Looks great Phil!
I was always kinda amazed as how the Brickies at work could take odd sized pieces of field stone, and make a good looking wall. ( like you did ).

Are you gonna try the piping bag mortar trick on your grout lines?

Tim

Timothy,oh yes! Whenever I do a large project,I usually wind up getting a new tool or two! This ones got me about five(so far!). This weekend,I'm gonna try to get the two sides and the divider fronts done. Then next weekend, the grout and done! Hopefully!

tick...tick...tick...how many days until smoke day?

Phil, you are sure making my ots sitting in my driveway look pretty lame.

J,that's ok! I started with a few pavers to sit my ECB and WSM on. We also started with a 9 X 13 patio, and now have a 13 X 16 pergola covered deck, complete with bench and ceiling fan! Gotta start somewhere! We actually extended part of the deck out 4 more feet so I can get to the OTS and stay on the deck! I'll post a pic tomorrow!
