purple 18 silver $10

I recently pick up this purple 18 silver for $10. Date stamp on lid is DA (2001).

I have never seen such color. Both crate my need to be replace, have to clean up first.

burgundy? looks very purplish and the previous owner say it was purple. And I thought it was special as one of a kind.

I was driving by and notice a yard sale and see a small green grill with side table. I took a closer look and it's a 18 platinum DD (2000) code. I asked how much? they said $10 and that they also have another one. I offer $10 for both and they accept. Score!!!

wasn't looking but i couldn't just walk away from those sad grills and beside how can i not buy it when its like they are giving it away.

I am not sure as to what to do with these two either, i've got way too many grills, and its been growing.

I was thinking about my 3 performer, i may swap the blue with the green. I like the ss better than the newer style.

What do you guys think? should i swap out the blue and green? i really like the ss table.

and here's my green performer before it is taken apart for transport to it's new home. Those are bird poop, no damage/rust to lid, bowl or cart.

That is a very nice maroon master touch.

I've a wood handle 22 silver browney. i think its two tone? darker at the edge? can't recall it's in the back of the pile of grills that need cleaning and fixing.

I prefer the newer plastic table versions. The stainless are ok but I'm not a fan of the table handle, it seems to get in the way a lot.
 
You have quite a collection Vincent. If I remembr correctly that burgundy 18 came from Huntington Beach. I posted it in the trading post. I would have really liked to have it, but I am in Norcal, so it really wasn't gonna happen. I hope you in fact did get it.
 
This thread is very colorful I would love to add a Purple to the collection. We'll call that one. "The Wifes"

Yes it did came from HB, and I do have it. Still in the plastic bag you see above.

I do have friends/relative up in norcal. I wasn't always here in socal. I used to live up in Sac before I meet my wife. I still miss the simplier live, here traffic is so bad 24/7.

My wife ask me same thing. it is in my backyard with cover over them.

I am looking to do a transplant and keep a blue and red ss. I still have another newer performer that is still in pieces in my garage.

Hopefully when it all said and done, i'll have a couple of ss performer and a 22 wsm and a 26 and of course a few 22 and/or 18.

I am looking for a trade if anyone is interested. I need 22 wsm and/or 26.
