Pulled Beef

Any recommendations for a good finishing sauce for pulled beef? Also, does anybody from the northern virginia area have a good source for chuck rolls? I am a member of BJs but I never see them in the case.

Did you ask in they have them in the back? Many places never put them out as the plan is to cut them up anyway.

You'll usually have to ask for a chuck roll.

Most are 15-25 lbs, and would take up too much space in the display cooler.

Kevin, thanks for the sauce recipe links. I think I am going to try the recipe from the first link.

On the chuck roll search front I finally had some luck finding one but it is a monster....25 pounds. Because it will not fit as is I am going to cut it in half and smoke on the top and bottom grates. If all goes well I will have them on in a couple of hours.
