Pulled Beef, Tatties n Beans

I tried pulled beef for the first time this weekend, with hassleback potatoes and beans. It turned out pretty good. I cooked a 5lb chuck roast using the recipe from here, but when I covered it up after 3 hours I added some guinness, onions & peppers and then a little BBQ sauce towards the end. I think it needed a little longer or a longer rest, it pulled apart but would have like it more tender, anyway it tasted nice!

I tried hasselback potatoes for the 1st time as well and they were OK, they weren't crispy enough, needed longer and hotter, but now I know for next time.

The obligatory bottle of booze to start things off

That is one mean looking sammie....nicely done! Was there a dot between the 4 and the 8 on that cider?

Cheers guys, it was a mighty fine sandwich the following day, what you can't see is a little bit of English mustard under the beef which gave it a nice kick - And yes James there is definitely a dot between the 4 and 8, don't think I would have lived to post the pics if there wasn't :D
