I tried Simple Green, Simple Green Max, Castrol Super Clean, and Purple Power as I stock them all down my work.

None of these are in the same league as Dawn Power Dissolver. Believe me, if something was cheaper and worked nearly as well I would use it.

Guys, I bought a few bottles of the Members Mark oven cleaner a few weeks ago and have tried to use it on a few fireboxes. I used the sprayer and had it soak for a few minutes. It took some of the grease off bit not much. Plus after spraying the foam slowly runs off and does not really have time to dissolve all the grease.
Has anyone tried a more effective way to do it? I was wondering if soaking in a tub might work better using a mix of water and cleaner. I have a big plastic tab I used some time ago to mix concrete.
