Prime Ribeye Cap Steaks at Costco

For some time now I've planned to buy a section of rib roast, remove the ribs for one cook, remove the cap for another, and have a third cook with the rest.
But for the first time ever I found just the cap, cut into slender steaks, at Costco.
At $16.99 per lb I just couldn't pull the trigger.
My gosh they were beautiful though!

That might be something new at Costco? I have not seen them at mine before. How many lbs was the package?

The packages were around 2 pounds each, and they only had 3 total.
Probably a fluke thing, bet I'll never see them there again.

Costco here in Charleston has been carrying them for a good while. They are rolled up, pinwheel style, and tied. I have been tempted, but like you Bob, have not pulled the trigger.

I have seen them one time at a small store around Christmas. Tried them and they were very guud.
Don't remember the price we paid as it as several years ago. But they were well worth it.
