Price of meat

The price of meat has got me crazy.

I haven't had a Porterhouse steak about a year now. $18.00 is a little high.
Good thing I like hot dogs and chicken>

Good news! Tyson Foods Inc today announced that they have almost doubled quarterly earnings because of jacked up price of meat. Smells like profiteering. (For a real shortage they should not have as much product so it would be still a break even thing).

Hummm. Being taken advantage of by Tyson.

Local farmers note that the price for cattle has decreased to -almost- normal. Trip to store showed price still jacked up.

Demand > than Availability = Price +.
Love it or hate it, get used to it. Made this country what it is. Until availability outweighs demand, don't expect prices to drop. Perfect example? OPEC! Make the rules - take no hostages.
