Pressure wash inside of lid or no?

On my to-do list is clean grill. 23 year old Genesis Silver B still in good condition. For the inside of the lid should I just take a putty knife or razor blade to scrape the shiny black carbon "paper" in there, or can I use a pressure washer? (I would remove the pins and take the lid off first)

Did you experience any rusting after pressure washing your grill?

Bobby, the Silver B lids are porcelain coated inside and out. Unless you crack or chip the porcelain, they will not rust.

A pressure washer will take the paint right off the end caps if you aren't careful.
