Portable Rain Shelter for WSM

Here are some pics of a portable rain shelter we built for the Safeway National Capital BBQ Competition this summer. It rained 2" over 2 days and the smoker stayed dry. It was not windy. The shelter is made of 5 oil drip pans from WalMart taped together with waterproof tape. (two are taped together for the roof). When not using them, I keep my smokers on top of them to protect my deck. The whole setup worked great and was probably $40

Smart thinking. I like that . If it got windy you could just set a couple bricks on top or a good sized rock , even .
