Pork shoulder flip?

Have the WSM heating up to smoke 2 4lb pork shoulders,my first attempt. Gonna put them on lower grate as I plan to add 3 slabs of ribs on top grate later this afternoon. Do I need to flip the shoulders at any particular time? My thought was to turn them when I add the ribs.Let me know what you guys suggest.
Thanks,Matt

Leave them alone. No need to flip.
But do take pictures and share with us. :)

I agree. I never touch my shoulders once they are on except to check for doneness. Unless of course I need to move them to make room for something else. As an example, my last cook involved 2 shoulders, 3 racks of SLC ribs, and a dutch oven full of beans. I put the shoulders on the lower grate and ribs up top. Once the ribs were done I moved the shoulders to the top to make room for the beans. That way the thing that needs the most tending (cause it'll be done first) is more accessible.
