Pork Shoulder Blade Roast - Bone In?

Is this the same as a Boston Butt? My Safeway has them for $0.99/lb, but the pic in the flyer didn't look like a butt to me.

I've found a few threads on the subject, but still am not quite clear. Sorry.

I may be wrong, if I am somebody can correct me. The shoulder blade is the same as a boston butt, just called a blade roast to coincide with how beef is called to make it easier for the consumer to know where the cut is from.

Other names for butt
I don't know why they call it Boston Butt. I guess I'll have to read a little history on it. I live 20 miles from Boston and believe me, if there's a pig farm around here I don't know where it is. LOL, wouldn't you know it, an answer for everything. little history of boston butt
